The double room at Kristian Homestay was perfect for me as a karaoke lover! It had a dining area where I could enjoy my meals before hitting the casino. The twin room with a tile/marble floor felt so fancy. I felt like a high-roller every time I walked in! I loved that the twin room had a private entrance. It made me feel like I had my own little hideaway. The double room with a patio was amazing! I could step outside and enjoy the fresh air whenever I wanted. The twin room with soundproofing was a game-changer. I could sing my heart out at karaoke without worrying about disturbing anyone.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the electric kettle and tea/coffee maker in the double room. I prefer going out to grab a cup of joe from a local café.

The walls of the rooms are quite thin, which means that noise from the surroundings can be heard.

The double room at Kristian Homestay is cozy and inviting, with a lovely dining area that was perfect for enjoying meals together as friends. The electric kettle and tea/coffee maker added a nice touch for a relaxing stay.
Personally, I found the soundproofing in the twin room a bit excessive, as I enjoy hearing the natural sounds of the surroundings. However, I understand that some guests might appreciate the extra quietness.

The rooms were comfortable and the mattresses were amazing, providing a good night's sleep. The hosts were friendly and provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We enjoyed the opportunity to learn Indonesian from the hosts and immerse ourselves in the local culture.
The cleanliness of the bathroom was not up to par and the toilet flush was broken. The limited English skills of the staff made communication difficult.
